How to import from Konto JSON

Purpose

Import a building model from a single JSON file exported from LCAbyg 2023’s Konto format.

Prerequisites

You have the .json file.

Steps

1. Go to the project’s General information, and click Import.
2. Choose JSON file (.json).
3. Select the file. LCAbyg automatically recognizes whether it’s a Konto JSON file or a .lcabyg.json project file, and picks the right import path.
4. Confirm the import.

Result

The building model is imported as a new version in the current project. Library references are rehydrated on the server during the import.

The file does not have to contain a whole building: a component file with just constructions (for example an exported construction or LCAbyg 2023’s “Import components from json”) is imported the same way and lands in the new version.
