Limit values
Comparison against the limit values for the project’s calculation mode. Values are normalized per m²/year (reference area × assessment period).

Each section has a chart and a table per limit value, e.g. Statutory requirement (BR18 (2025)) and Voluntary class (BR18 (2025)), with indicator, stage, project value, limit, unit and status.

When no verdict is given
Section titled “When no verdict is given”If the limit value cannot be determined, no verdict is given. Neither Passes nor Exceeds is shown, rather than a verdict that cannot be trusted.

Unheated is not the same as empty. If a usage is unheated, enter 0 as its heated floor area. An empty field means “missing” and blocks the limit value; 0 means unheated and is a valid value.
The area bracket
Section titled “The area bracket”Some limit values only apply within an area range, for example holiday homes below and from 150 m². The bracket is decided on heated floor area, and for mixed usage on each usage’s own heated area. That is not the same as the reference area, which is used as the per-m²/year denominator and as the weight for mixed usage.
An unheated usage counts as 0 m² for the bracket and therefore does not match a bracket that requires a minimum area. If no bracket fits, no statutory requirement applies.
