Construction site
The construction site’s consumption during the construction phase. Opened via Construction site in the project menu. The page is divided into four A5 cards at the top and an A4 section below.
Energy supply (A5)
Section titled “Energy supply (A5)”The construction site’s general electricity/heat supply during the construction phase.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Comment | Free text for noting where the figure comes from |
| Supply source | Energy source from the library, e.g. electricity or district heating |
| Consumption | The total consumption over the entire construction period, with the calendar year it relates to (one row per year) |
The contribution is calculated as emission factor × consumption. Electricity used for transport (electric vehicles) belongs under the transport cards, not here. Transport electricity and supply electricity are kept separate.
Fuel (A5)
Section titled “Fuel (A5)”Fuel for the construction site’s own process machinery, e.g. an excavator or a crane. Entered as a total quantity in litres.
Waste treatment (A5)
Section titled “Waste treatment (A5)”One waste line per material, with quantity and optionally transport per line. The checkbox Use default values for haulage of construction waste is shared across all waste types:
- Switched on: the BR23 flat rate 0.06 × reference area × duration is added once for the whole construction site, and you do not specify transport per waste type.
- Switched off: you specify the transport per waste type yourself, preferably from measured consumption (litres of fuel or kWh of electricity), otherwise mass × distance (kg·km). Choose only one basis per haul.
Soil disposal (A5)
Section titled “Soil disposal (A5)”The same pattern as waste treatment, but with its own default value: when switched on, the transport’s GWP is calculated automatically as 0.06 × reference area × duration.
Materiel transport (A4)
Section titled “Materiel transport (A4)”Transport of equipment to and from the construction site. Note that this is module A4, not A5, even though it appears on the Construction site page. The default value here is 0.02 × reference area × duration.
