Published and draft: why a library can be invisible to a colleague
A library has a publication status: published or draft. The status is the entire visibility gate on an official library, not just a visual badge.
A library in draft is invisible to everyone. That also applies to colleagues who would otherwise have access if the library were published: an organisation library in draft is still not seen by the organisation’s own members until it is published.
This means that a user who experiences an expected library as “disappeared” or “not created yet” is in practice most often looking at a library that exists but sits in draft. It is not an access error, but a deliberate state the content has not yet left.
Publication time
