Transport
Transport in module A4 for all building products in the building model. Opened via Transport in the project menu. It is a single page: two default-value settings at the top, and below them the table with transport per individual building product. At the top right, a counter shows how many of the building model’s building products have been configured.
Default values
Section titled “Default values”Two settings, each with its own switch:
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Transport of surplus materials, packaging and similar (A4) | Transport is accounted for from default values per kg of material, plus 0.02 × reference area × duration |
| Terminal processes (A4) | The contribution from transhipment and sorting, fixed at 0.02 × reference area × duration |
If a setting is marked Locked by calculation mode, it is controlled centrally by the selected calculation mode and cannot be changed here.
Materiel transport (A4) does not belong here: it sits under Construction site as the card “Materiel transport (A4)”.
Heaviest building products
Section titled “Heaviest building products”A shortcut to the five building products that weigh the most in total, where all occurrences of the same building product are counted together. These are the ones transport typically matters most for.
The building product table
Section titled “The building product table”The search field searches building product, construction and category. Next to it are three filters: All, Missing and Configured.
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Building product | The building product’s name |
| Construction | The construction the building product is part of |
| Category | The building product’s place in the building model |
| Has A4 | Whether the building product has transport specified |
| Method | How transport is accounted for on this particular building product |
| Value | The calculated transport value, or an explanation of why there is none |
| Status | Missing or configured |
Auto-fill everything missing
Section titled “Auto-fill everything missing”The Auto-fill missing (N)… button next to the search field fills every building product with status Missing, without needing to mark them individually. Per building product, the source is chosen in priority order: first another, already-configured row in the project for the same building product (same owner, GUID and version), otherwise the library’s default transport. A dialog shows the whole plan, grouped by source, before anything runs, and rows with no source are reported in the result afterward.
Several building products at once
Section titled “Several building products at once”Mark building products with the checkboxes on the left, and an action bar appears above the table:
| Action | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Choose method + Apply | Set the same method on all marked building products |
| Copy from building product | Transfer another building product’s transport setup to the marked ones |
| Fill from library | Fetch the transport from the library’s data |
| Remove transport | Reset the transport on the marked building products |
